The OM Matters App was created to help inspire you on your yoga journey. The yoga cards, articles and lessons within this App provide examples of how you can practice the 8 Limbs of Yoga each day, through physical postures, breathing exercises, meditation and philosophical practices. This 8-limbed path is found in the ancient text, the Yoga Sūtra, which is considered the foundational text on the yoga philosophy and practice. The 8 Limbs of Yoga are road map that guides us in our journey to live a more soulful and meaningful life. Each limb is interconnected with the next and are designed to be practiced in a circular and ongoing manner: our practices may change and evolve, but we are always practicing.
