Description
Point your iPhone at the mountains and see every summit's name, distance, and elevation, right on the camera view.
SummitPeek knows more than 87,000 peaks across the United States and Canada, and labels the ones that actually stand out on your skyline. It uses GPS, not cell service, so it works at the trailhead, on the summit, or anywhere you're out of coverage.
• Tap a label for the peak's altitude, distance, bearing, and a map of it
• Take a photo with the peak names on it and share it
• Label only the peaks above an elevation, or within a distance you choose
• If labels sit beside their peaks, drag one onto its peak and the rest follow
• Miles and feet, or kilometers and meters
SummitPeek works on iPhone and on iPads with cellular, which have the GPS it needs. Peak data comes from USGS, Natural Resources Canada, and Copernicus elevation data.
