With the LapID Manager App, you check your drivers' licenses in person and on site. You verify that the license is genuine, and the app documents the result in the LapID system in a legally compliant way. Whether as a scheduled or a spontaneous check: anyone you authorize may carry it out — fleet managers, supervisors, reception or security staff. How a check works: • The LapID system automatically prompts your drivers by email or SMS when a check is due. • You inspect the license on site to confirm it is genuine. • You capture the license number with the app and compare it against the number held in the LapID system. • You confirm the check. The data is sent to the LapID servers in encrypted form. Done. The driver log records the result, together with every prompt and reminder. You can check any driver's license, paper or card, regardless of the issuing country. Professional drivers need a valid professional driver qualification alongside their license. The app captures this proof as well. If a qualification is about to expire, you see it in time. Not once the driver is already on the road without valid proof.
