With your handpicked crew and a patched-up ship, it's up to you to drive the enemy forces back and save civilization from extinction. The enemy is ruthless and has been destroying everyone in their path. We believe you have the skills to save us all! Starting out as an ensign, you'll be thrown straight into the action in a do-or-die fight for survival. Space is divided into many sectors, each split into quadrants. In each quadrant you might find enemies, planets, stars, and a starbase or two. Shields up, torpedoes armed — fly your starship, take the war to the enemy, and help build the new Concordiat of Man. NEW — MISSION MODE Take on freelance jobs across living, dynamic sectors: • Patrol nav routes and flush out raiders • Assault heavily defended enemy bases • Escort vulnerable freighters through hostile space • Recover stolen cargo and dilithium shipments • Hunt down and eliminate pirate leaders Enemies and difficulty scale with the sector — the deeper you push, the more dangerous the galaxy becomes. SCOUTING THE SECTOR Scroll the map and tap to use your impulse engines for short hops. To travel farther, bring up your Star Chart to see local space, select a quadrant, and Engage Warp to start your trek! The chart shows your starbases — red if under attack, green if all is clear. REPAIR & RESUPPLY When energy runs low, your shields fail, or your hull is damaged, head to your local starbase for some R&R while your ship is repaired and rearmed. CRYSTALS & UPGRADES Victory is rewarded in dilithium crystals. Mine them from local planets, then spend them to upgrade your starship into a galaxy-conquering warship. Trade cargo between starbases for credits, and rise in rank from ensign to fleet captain as you level up your ship and crew. Earn free crystals along the way, or purchase them to fast-track your fleet. WEAPON OF LAST RESORT — THE DEATH RAY! When you're surrounded and things look grim, it's time for the Death Ray. Roll the dice: obliterate everything in the quadrant... or go out in a gallant act of self-immolation! WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS — CALL FOR HELP! Your ship is floating scrap, your crew mostly gone... it's time to Call for Help! Why fly solo when you've got a friend at your back? Time to hand some back... GOOD HUNTING OUT THERE! It's a cold, hard universe and space is full of enemies. Balance your attacks with recovery at a nearby starbase and you'll progress. The enemy has a few tricks up their sleeve they won't hesitate to use — and watch out for black holes and supernovas! TIPS • Watch your energy and shields; return to a starbase often to recharge and repair. • Mine planets for crystals to speed up upgrades. • Sell cargo at starbases for extra credits.
