The UNHCR refugee site planning application was developed for field personnel in humanitarian emergencies and provides support towards planning refugee sites in line with international standards (SPHERE and/or UNHCR good practice standards). This tool does not replace solid expertise and experience in site planning. For the actual construction and final planning of refugee camps and transit sites, we recommend seeking expert advice and personnel (site planners, shelter specialists etc).
It is part of the DISP® software suite developed by HITEC Luxembourg.
