Face Detection and Recognition

How old do you look? Face Detective finds every face in a photo and guesses how old each one looks — then turns the result into a card you can share with friends. AGE GUESSING FOR THE WHOLE PHOTO • Every face is found, numbered and given an apparent age • See who looks youngest, who looks oldest and the group average • A likely age range and a chart of how sure the guess is • Live mode guesses ages in real time through the camera SHARE YOUR AGE CARD • One tap makes a "How old do we look?" card, sized for Instagram, Facebook and messages • Save annotated photos to your library or share them anywhere READ A FACE • Smile, eyes-open and symmetry readings from 76 facial landmarks • Your face shape — oval, round, square, oblong or heart — with glasses and haircut tips • Facial proportions compared with the rule of fifths, facial thirds and the golden ratio • Symmetry mirror: see what your face would look like with two left sides, or two right sides PRIVACY TOOLS • Blur, pixelate, add a black eye bar or cover faces with emoji before you share • Choose which faces stay visible PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Every photo is analyzed on your iPhone or iPad with Apple's Vision framework — no uploads, no account • Face Detective never identifies who anyone is, keeps no face data and never shares your photos • Saved scans stay in the app until you delete them Ages are how old a face looks to an on-device model, not anyone's real age. Lighting, makeup, beards and camera angle all sway the guess — that's half the fun. Face Detective is for entertainment and is not a medical, identity or age-verification tool. Face Detective is free and supported by ads. Age model trained on the FairFace dataset (Kärkkäinen & Joo, 2021), licensed CC BY 4.0.
