Description
Requires iPhone Duo for automatic fold counting and open-session timing. Standard iPhone models and iPad do not provide the required folding triggers. One-time manual setup in Apple Shortcuts is required.
Make every opening part of your story with Fold by Fold.
• Track today's openings, your lifetime total, averages, milestones, and your busiest day on a stats-focused Overview.
• Explore weekly, monthly, and yearly count charts, plus hourly and weekly completed-time charts.
• Pair Opened and Closed automations to measure sessions, completed time, average session length, and your longest session.
• Browse and filter counts and sessions by today, this week, this month, or all time.
• Correct daily counts, add missed openings, or undo the latest eligible recorded opening.
• Set an optional daily goal and choose optional local goal and milestone alerts.
• Choose Classic or Dashboard separately for each Fold by Fold widget, with small, medium, and large sizes, plus Weekly activity and Daily goal widgets.
• Preview both widget layouts inside the app using your history or labeled example data. Tap widgets to open relevant details.
• Choose from 16 coordinated themes, including Lime, Magenta, Sand, and Midnight.
• Adjust count size, contrast, and background decoration for readability.
• Export daily history as CSV, save a JSON backup, and restore with a recovery copy.
COUNTING AND TIMING HAVE SEPARATE SETUP
Connect Record a Fold to an Opened-only shortcut. For automatic session timing, create a separate Closed-only shortcut containing Record a Close. Enable automatic running and allow running while locked for both. The five-step guide includes a physical test. Counting and Timing readiness reflect recorded signals, not an inspection of your automations.
The troubleshooting guide helps with running timers, missing or doubled counts, and stale widgets. Support: [email protected].
No account, ads, subscription, analytics, or tracking. Counts and sessions stay on your device unless you export or share them. Support email sends nothing automatically.
History starts when recording begins. Missing closes and earlier durations cannot be reconstructed. Current-session timers follow recorded actions, not verified physical posture. iOS controls automation execution and widget refresh timing. Goals and achievements are personal activity markers, not durability estimates. One-time paid app. No in-app purchases.
