Wanderpane turns your iPhone into a window. Closed, it's a small cabin window looking out on an alpine lake that is quietly alive. On iPhone Duo, unfold the phone and the casements swing open with the hinge, and the view glides through the window until the inner display is nothing but the valley. On any other iPhone, swipe across the glass to open it. FOUR PLACES • Alpine Escape: a log cabin above a mountain lake. • Natsuzora: an upstairs room high above a lakeside town, beneath towering summer clouds, drawn like an animated film. • Komorebi: a balcony room over a garden and a bay, hand-painted, with sunlight through the leaves. • Seaside Town: an ivy-framed window over red roofs, a harbour and a castle on a headland, with a calico cat asleep on the sill. A LIVING WORLD • Time of day follows your clock, with the sun and moon on real paths. Or choose sunrise, morning, afternoon, golden hour, sunset or night. • Seven kinds of weather drift and blend on their own: clear, cloudy, gentle rain, heavy rain, snow, fog and thunderstorms. Rain beads and runs down the glass. • Small moments arrive in their own time: bird flocks, butterflies, rings on the water, a passing sailboat, deer at dawn and dusk, fireflies, a local train, shooting stars. • An ambient soundscape is created on your device: wind, water, rain, birds, cicadas, waves and distant bells. It softens when the window is closed.
