SLEEPERZ is an alarm clock for heavy sleepers — and for anyone who lives with one. It rings through Silent mode and Focus, using iOS's own alarm system, so it goes off even when the phone is muted. Then it does not stop until you prove you are awake: solve three math problems in a row, or get up and scan a stop code you have printed and stuck somewhere far from the bed. IT DOES NOT SETTLE • Rotates through dozens of sounds — air horns, klaxons, sirens, a dial-up modem — so you never get used to one. • Between sounds, a voice drops in to comment on the fact that you are still lying there. • Hit snooze and it lets you know what it thinks about that. YOU SET THE PRICE OF STOPPING IT • One to five problems in a row, easy to hard. Get one wrong and you start over. • Or scan the printed QR stop code instead — print it from the app and put it in the kitchen. • Optional camera-light strobe to light up the room (capped at three flashes a second).
