گۆچان – Kurdish Keyboard

Gochan (گۆچان) is a Sorani Kurdish keyboard that helps you write pure, correct Kurdish. FOREIGN WORDS, MARKED AS YOU TYPE Gochan notices words borrowed from other languages while you type and offers the Kurdish word to use instead. Every suggestion is a word found in the Hejar or Xal dictionaries. CHECK AND FIX Tap "پشکنین" (Check) in the suggestion bar and Gochan reads the paragraph you are writing. It answers "هەڵەی تێدایە" (it has mistakes) or "ڕاستە" (it is right). When there are mistakes, tap "چاککردن" (Fix) and the corrected paragraph takes its place. When it is right, you get a green tick. MADE FOR SORANI • The full Sorani layout, with long-press for the extra letters • Number and symbol pages • Emoji, with your recent ones first • Hold the space bar to move the cursor, along a line or between lines • Light and dark, following your phone • Its own key click and vibration, each with a switch PRIVATE BY DESIGN The keyboard and its dictionary work on your phone, with no internet. Nothing you type leaves your phone, except a paragraph you choose to check by tapping "Check". The Check button is never offered in password fields. TURNING IT ON Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard → Gochan.
