Label-O-Scope

Label-O-Scope is a privacy-first iPhone app that scans packaged-food ingredient labels and checks them against your personal Avoid List. Wrapped in the playful spirit of a pocket-sized CRT scanner from “the future” as imagined in the past, it helps you spot unwanted ingredients in a flash! Results are deterministic using on device OCR and easy to inspect: • NO MATCHES: No ingredient matching your current Avoid List was detected. • AVOID: One or more ingredients match, with the exact ingredient and rule shown. • TAKE ANOTHER LOOK / POSSIBLE AVOID: The label needs your review, so the app avoids giving a false all-clear. BUILD YOUR OWN AVOID LIST Add individual ingredients or start with optional packs for ingredients people commonly choose to avoid. Every rule remains editable. SCAN OR TYPE Use your iPhone camera, or tap and paste an ingredient list when shopping online. SAVE AND RECHECK FOODS Save foods you want to remember. When you change your Avoid List, saved results update against your current rules. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Ingredient recognition, parsing, matching, and optional Apple Intelligence Smart Suggestions run on device. Label-O-Scope requires no account, and has no ads, analytics, or tracking. When available, saved data syncs through your private iCloud account. Label-O-Scope is a personal ingredient-screening tool.
