iPhone Screenshots
Description
TopSecret blacks out anything sensitive in an image or PDF — then exports a flattened copy where the hidden data is genuinely gone, not just hidden behind a rectangle.
Most "redaction" just draws a box on top. The text underneath is still there, still selectable, still recoverable. TopSecret rebuilds the pixels: the content under every bar is destroyed, so a redacted name, number, or face can't be selected, copied, or pulled back out of the exported file.
REDACT BY HAND OR AUTOMATICALLY
• Drag to draw a bar over anything. Move it, resize it, delete it, or undo it.
• Auto-Detect finds emails, Social Security numbers, phone numbers, card numbers, IP addresses, and faces. Switch a kind on and every match in the document is blacked out; switch it off to bring them back.
• Find & Redact keeps a list of words, numbers, or whole blocks of text — like an address — and blacks out every match, with an optional fuzzy match for close spellings and OCR slips. Remove a term and its matches come back.
IMAGES AND MULTI-PAGE PDFS
• Import a screenshot, a photo, or a long PDF from Photos or Files.
• Step through every page — iPad adds a thumbnail rail alongside it.
• Pinch to zoom in, and select text right on the page to copy it, redact it, or redact every copy of it.
• Exported PDFs are rasterized, so nothing lingers underneath the bars.
PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF
• Save an editable session and come back to it later — your bars, exactly where you left them.
• Export a flattened copy any time and share it straight from the app — Files, Mail, Messages, AirDrop, wherever it needs to go.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Everything happens on your device. All text and face detection uses Apple's on-device Vision framework.
• No network, no accounts, no telemetry. TopSecret only ever touches the file you hand it.
• One universal app for iPhone and iPad.
Redact anything, for good.
