Description

During a cardiac arrest, one person taps each intervention as it happens. CodeScribe EMS keeps the times, runs the rhythm check and epi timers on the buttons themselves, and writes the narrative for your PCR when the code ends. The record comes from the real timeline, not from memory at the station. FOR THE SCRIBE • One tap per intervention: CPR, rhythm, analyze, shock, epi, amiodarone, airway, IV/IO, EtCO2, ROSC, transport, notes. Every entry can be edited afterward. • Cycle timers you can see. Two-minute rhythm cycles and epi intervals count down on the buttons. Silent, visual only, and set to your protocol. • Chart-ready at the end: duration, time to first compression, shock and epi, a written narrative to copy into your ePCR, or a PDF timeline to share. • Your buttons. Rename, reorder and hide buttons, add your own, and set each timer's interval. • Adult and pediatric, with weight-based defaults for pediatric codes. Every value stays editable. • Works with no signal. No account needed. Records stay on your phone until you share them. FOR DEPARTMENTS (optional, with a department account) • One protocol on every phone. Your training officer sets the buttons, timers and drug list once from a web dashboard, and every member's phone picks it up at its next check-in, never during a code. Lock it so everyone works from the same screen. • QA on every code without pulling charts. After each code, your department receives a summary: time to first compression, first shock and first epi, epi and rhythm check timing against your own protocol, CPR pauses, outcome, and what was left blank. By crew member and year over year, with a printable report for the medical director and a one-page debrief for any code. • No patient information leaves the phone. Summaries never include dates, times, incident numbers, notes or patient details. You see exactly what your department receives before you join. • Mark any code as training and it isn't counted. Delete a code and it's withdrawn. FOR EMT AND PARAMEDIC PROGRAMS • Set up as a training program, every student's mock code reaches the instructor's dashboard the moment it ends, with the scenario name, ready for the debrief. CodeScribe EMS is a documentation aid, not clinical decision support. It never tells you what to give or when, and it has no alarms. Always follow your protocols and medical direction, and record what was actually done. Do not enter patient names or identifiers. Department accounts: codescribeems.org/departments.
