Obscura helps you find a starting exposure at a glance. Set your film speed and explore automatically calculated shutter speed and aperture combinations. Select your camera and lens from a curated catalog so the calculated settings align with your gear. Optionally use local weather information to meter based on current conditions. It does not measure scene luminance and is not a light meter. Exposure recommendations are estimates based on the Sunny 16 method. On Apple Watch, Obscura is designed to stay out of the way while you shoot. On iPhone, you get a larger view for setting up your exposure and managing your gear.
