HONEST ABOUT CLOSE CALLS Better Value won't oversell a thin margin. Two products within about 2% of each other are called basically identical, not a winner and a loser. And when a comparison rests on an estimated size — a pint sold by volume with no net weight printed, say — the app says so on the figure itself rather than presenting a guess as a fact. NEVER GUESSES If a photo is too blurry, dark, or cropped to read with confidence, the app says so instead of inventing a number. A wrong verdict is worse than no verdict.
