VersuScan helps you detect potential hidden cameras and suspicious devices in hotels, rentals, offices, and private spaces, using tools your iPhone already has. Unlike gimmicky “spy detector” apps, VersuScan combines physical inspection with safe network discovery to give you real signals, not guesses. What VersuScan Does • Lens Reflection Scan Uses your phone camera and flashlight to highlight tiny reflective glints from camera lenses or glass. Move slowly and change angles to spot persistent points. • Wi-Fi Discovery (iOS-Safe) Discovers devices advertising services on your local network using Bonjour / mDNS. No invasive subnet scanning or password guessing. • Active Device Validation Optionally probe selected devices via HTTP or RTSP to check for camera-like responses and service banners. • Bluetooth (BLE) Scan Detects nearby Bluetooth Low Energy devices. Name filters highlight common camera and tracker vendors. • Unified Risk Summary Results from all scans are combined into a simple confidence level so you know when something is worth investigating further.
