IMPORTANT: This app works EXCLUSIVELY on iPhone Pro (12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17) with a LiDAR sensor. Standard models without LiDAR are not supported. Sonar LiDAR is an advanced mobility assistant designed for the blind, visually impaired, or anyone needing to navigate in dark or unfamiliar environments. Harnessing the power of the LiDAR sensor in your device, the app scans the environment in real-time, translating the distance of obstacles into intuitive haptic (vibration) and audio signals. IMPORTANT: CALIBRATION AND POSTURE This app is a support tool that requires personal learning and calibration. The accuracy of detection, especially for the "Cliff/Drop Detection" feature, heavily depends on how you hold the device. Correct Posture: For optimal results, hold your iPhone in a natural position, slightly tilted forward (as if reading a message while walking). This allows the LiDAR sensor to "see" the floor ahead of your feet. Incorrect Posture: Holding the device perfectly vertical (perpendicular to the ground) may cause the sensor to point too far down, triggering false "Cliff" alarms. We strongly recommend testing the app in a safe, known environment to find the best tilt angle and sensitivity setting (adjustable in Settings) for your height and walking style.
