Description

Crowcon OneConnect companion mobile app serves as a central interface for managing and monitoring IQ range of portable gas detection devices such as the UnoIQ, DuoIQ, and DetectiveIQ. The app provides users with critical safety information, device health status, and real-time gas readings directly on their mobile devices. The app offers multiple ways to interact with gas detectors: • Bluetooth Connectivity: Users can view a list of available devices and connect to them wirelessly to monitor live data and device status. • NFC Compliance Check: A specialized feature allows for a quick Compliance Check via Near Field Communication (NFC). By tapping the phone against the backside of the detector near the label, the app can instantly retrieve the device's compliance status without requiring a full Bluetooth pair. Once a device is selected or tapped, the app displays a comprehensive dashboard that includes: • Status Overview: At a glance, users can see the device's battery level, firmware version, and connection type. • Compliance Tracking: The app clearly indicates if a device is "Compliant" or "Not Compliant" based on its internal health checks. • Maintenance Schedules: It tracks and displays the specific due dates for Calibration and Bump tests, even highlighting how many months or days remain before these actions are required. • Condition Reports: A detailed "Condition" popup can be accessed to confirm if the device is functioning correctly and is free of any faults or warnings. The app provides deep visibility into the environment through detailed channel screens: • Live Readings and Graphs: Users can monitor live gas concentrations. These readings are accompanied by real-time trend graphs that show fluctuations over the previous several minutes. • Exposure Metrics: For toxic gases like H2S, the app tracks essential safety metrics, including STEL (Short Term Exposure Limit), and LTEL (Long Term Exposure Limit). • Alarm Thresholds: The app displays the configured Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 levels, ensuring users know exactly at what concentration the hardware will trigger a warning. For every channel, the app stores and displays vital sensor metadata, including: • Gas type and range. • Sensor expiry dates • Historical maintenance data, showing exactly when the sensor was last calibrated and last bumped. The OneConnect Companion app acts allows a safety manager to monitor the device with a quick tap, ensuring it is healthy, up-to-date on its calibration, bump and providing a continuous monitoring of the surrounding air quality to keep workers safe.
