Description
SuperOCR is a lightweight macOS utility that lets you instantly extract text from any image, screenshot, or selected area on your screen. It is built on Apple’s Vision framework and optimized for multilingual text recognition, including French, German, Japanese, and many other languages.
What you can do with SuperOCR
- Capture part of the screen
- Use the built‑in screenshot tool to select any region of your screen.
- The captured area becomes the current image for OCR.
- Paste images from the clipboard
- Copy an image from browsers, design tools, or other apps.
- Click Paste Image to use it directly for recognition.
- Open images from files
- Click Select Image to open local image files.
- Supports common formats like PNG, JPG, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, HEIC/HEIF, and WEBP.
- Recognize text with one click
- Click the yellow Recognize button to run OCR on the current image.
- Copy results from the log panel for further use.
