(Need a partner? The Connections tab also lets you swipe people to form your duo.) How it works Trust Code Get an invite from a friend, a host, a venue — or submit a short request on our site. Lock Duo Pair with someone you know or a new connection from the network. Two people, one shared decision. Join an event Swipe local events, request access, the host validates, you confirm 2/2, then enter the Event Lounge (group chat) to coordinate and unlock the venue address. Why a duo? Fewer “maybe” plans: double confirmation = plans that stick. Easier socially: arriving as two just feels better. Safer by design: trust-gated network, visibility controlled by hosts. Key features Event swiping (friends, friends-of-friends, or invite-only). Connections to find your duo if needed. Event Lounge: one group chat per event for info and coordination. Host controls: who sees, who requests, who joins (Friends/FoF/Invite). Helpful notifications: reminders, confirmations, last-minute details. Light profiles: just what’s needed, without overexposure. For hosts Create an event in minutes, set visibility, approve duos, manage the list and conversation in the Lounge, and build your reputation. Safety & privacy Referrer validation: invites and approvals within a trust network. Optional light 18+ check: first name + date of birth, used only for verification, then deleted after approval (unless law requires otherwise). Community signals: post-event feedback (warnings / removals if needed). GDPR-compliant, EU hosting (Firebase). Who is it for?
