The game features grids sized 6x6 up to 12x12, where players use numeric clues along rows and columns to identify ship locations and water cells. Ships are placed only horizontally or vertically and cannot touch, even diagonally. Players mark water with a tap, add logical notes with a double tap, and place ship parts via triple tap or long press, all optimized for one-handed play.
The interface is clean and distraction-free, using only a few contrasting colors to maintain clarity and accessibility, even on monochrome screens. The screen displays just the grid, numeric hints, a top bar tracking remaining ships, and simple action icons. Undo is easy with a two-finger swipe, allowing quick corrections without interruption.
