THE SURVEYOR'S DRAFT - A Strategic Card Puzzle Game
OBJECTIVE:
Clear all 48 cards from the territory, leaving only the 4 Kings as your "Cornerstone Claims."
GAME SETUP:
• Territory: 4×4 grid (16 cards)
• Reserve: 4 cards above the grid
• Draw Pile: 32 remaining cards
HOW TO PLAY:
Form PARCELS by selecting 2 cards:
• Pair Parcel: Two cards of the same rank (e.g., two 7s)
• Sum Parcel: Two cards whose values total 13 (6 + 7, Q + A)
• Kings cannot be included in parcels!
After removing a parcel:
1. OPTIONAL: Move a Reserve card to fill an empty Territory spot
2. REQUIRED: Draw from the pile and cover any Territory card
3. Reserve automatically refills from the draw pile
SPECIAL FEATURE - RETURN CARD:
Use this one-time power to send a Territory card back to the draw pile. Perfect for when a King is blocking your strategy!
CARD VALUES:
Ace = 1, 2-10 = face value, Jack = 11, Queen = 12, King = special
WIN CONDITION: Clear all non-King cards
LOSE CONDITION: No valid parcels available and draw pile is empty
