Description
Screen translate uses macOS's built-in translation interface, supporting mutual translation between up to 19 languages.
By capturing the screen image, performing Apple's text recognition, and translating it, the translated text is displayed in the same location, so the text on the image will also be translated.
The video mode of Screen translate automatically translates English, Japanese, and French etc
video subtitles and displays the translated Language subtitles in the same position as the original subtitles.
After switching to pass-through mode, mouse clicks can be directly transmitted to the actual window.
A system-level keyboard shortcut, Shift + ⌘ + X, is provided to quickly hide or show the translation window. To enable this shortcut, you need to enable System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
Warning: Screen Translate uses techniques such as screen capture, image text recognition, and AI translation. These technologies cannot guarantee the reliability and accuracy of the recognized text and translation results!
Warning: When using the iPad as an external extended screen, the Sidebar and Touch Bar must be turned off; otherwise, the translated text on the extended screen will be misaligned.
