Just The Book

I created this app because I wanted to use the Bible app I needed. I didn't want distractions or features I'd never use. I didn't want monetization to be a forefront of its usage. I just wanted a space to read, think, and feel closer to God in the easiest way for me to. This isn’t about religion or denomination. It’s not made to represent any church or doctrine. It’s simply about getting closer to the word of the Lord, understanding Jesus, strengthening our relationship with Him, and living the way He would want us to, not what we try to tell ourselves to. Picking up any book can be intimidating, and especially when it's holding an entire Bible at once, but separating it all into its individual pieces makes it easier for me to get directly into reading and continue off whenever or wherever I'd like. I think we still should use our physical Bibles. I don't look at this as an escape from one but an easier entry into one. I use my phone more than I probably should, I read my Bible way less than I know I should, and I want this to be a bridge towards better habits for myself. I know that if I'm going to use my phone so much, it might as well help me in my connection with God.
