VideoMapper helps you quickly find the right footage in large collections of action cam videos—simply by using a map that shows where your videos were taken. Note: VideoMapper is a personal hobby project that I developed for my own needs. I maintain the app with a lot of passion, but I cannot offer professional support. Features • Search folders containing videos and automatically detect GPS data in the metadata. • Display your recordings on an interactive map – quickly find out where you filmed. • Select a video and see its exact location on the map – or vice versa. • Results are saved as a JSON file so you can quickly reload or reuse them. • Export tracks as GPX files for other applications. • Supports videos from DJI, Insta360, and GoPro (tested with: DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro, DJI Osmo 360, Insta360 Ace Pro, Insta360 X3, GoPro HERO8 Black). • Works completely locally—no cloud, no registration, no internet connection required.
