Stable Channels is an open-source, self-custodial Lightning wallet for stable-value balances—no tokens, no banks. Keep your keys and your bitcoin while managing exposure with a wallet designed to reduce day-to-day swings. Stability is coordinated peer-to-peer inside Lightning channels by frequently updating balances to BTC/USD reference prices; settlement occurs on Lightning. There are no issued tokens, custodians, or bank rails—just negotiated channel updates secured by bitcoin. Built by bitcoiners and maintained in the open, it’s for builders, and power users who want sovereignty without giving up usability. Stable Channels is under active development; features may change and channels can close at any time.
