through this process, over time, one develops a deeply sensitive manner towards others. Hazrat Inayat Khan composed these rules to cultivate a morally attuned culture and instill awareness in our inter-relationship with all beings. These rules belong to the tradition of spiritual chivalry, an essential part of the Sufi path.
