The Newekan App was created and developed by a young Kurdish innovator. It is the first donation app in all of Kurdistan, allowing people across the region and generous donors to contribute and deliver their support through this platform. Notably, this app is one of the fastest and most direct ways to send aid and donations to those who truly need it.
Through Newekan, citizens can donate money using FastPay and FIB, making the process easy and accessible. Those in need of assistance can also register their names through the app to receive support.
All funds collected through the app go directly to charitable causes, such as:
• Patients at Hiwa Hospital
• Orphaned children
• Performing critical surgeries for low-income individuals
• Purchasing and providing essential needs for those in poverty
Any Kurdish citizen can donate as little as 1,000 IQD (Iraqi Dinar) or more through the app to help others.
