Description
This app is developed with the intention of providing students and volunteer tutors to connect one on one with each other for on demand tutoring sessions. When registering, teachers and students will enter their availability and subjects they can teach/need tutoring in, and students can sign up with a teacher accordingly. Once a student books with a teacher, the booking request will pop up under the pending requests tab in the teacher's profile, where the teacher can either confirm the booking, making the meeting show up under the confirmed bookings tab in both the teacher and student profiles, or reject the booking if they are not able to meet at that time. Once booked, teachers can communicate with the student via email to set up a meeting through a video call platform. Future updates will include a chat feature in the app for teachers and students to communicate, a school supply request tab for students, and much more.
