Intercede was born from a desire to help believers maintain an active and effective prayer life in today's busy world. We recognized the challenges of consistent intercessory prayer and sought to create a digital solution that makes it easier to keep track of your prayer requests, God's leadings, and reflections.
Our name comes from Ezekiel 22:30, where God says, "I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one."
We believe that through faithful, consistent prayer, we can stand in the gap for others, bringing their needs before God and participating in His redemptive work in the world.
