Description

Connectome Workbench is a software application for visualizing neuroimaging data in standardized formats, including CIFTI, GIFTI, and NIFTI. It is particularly well-suited for exploring the functional and structural data produced by the Human Connectome Project (HCP). Key features include: • Visualization of data on cortical surface models and volume slices that encompass the entire brain, as well as histogram, line, and matrix plots. • A flexible tiling system for displaying surface, volume, and chart data within a single window. • Support for diverse data types, such as functional and structural connectivity, time series, cortical parcellations, connectivity matrices, borders, and foci. • Overlay of multiple data layers on both surface and volume representations. • A point-and-click identification tool that displays detailed information about data at any selected brain location. • Annotation tools for adding text and shapes to brain models, making it easy to create figures for publications. • Scenes for saving the full state of a Workbench session—including views, data selections, and layouts—for later replication or sharing with other users.
