Device Guardian

Device Guardian is a security protection app designed specifically for MacBook. It provides anti-theft protection in public places such as cafés, libraries, and airports. When you need to step away—whether to use the restroom or leave briefly—IGuard silently watches over your Mac. If someone attempts to steal your device, it will immediately trigger an alarm to scare off the intruder and alert people nearby. The app monitors your Mac's environment in real time using multiple sensor inputs, including power status, Bluetooth signal strength, Wi‑Fi signal strength, presence of external displays, and lid closure detection. With a strategy that balances false-positive tolerance and rapid response, Device Guardian categorizes risk into four levels (Safe, Suspicious, High Risk, and Emergency), and automatically takes appropriate actions at each level to protect your device and data.
