Preboarding is the process of receiving transactional business data from data partners in CSV or Excel format. Data files are registered with a durable identity, validated, upgraded, and published it in an immutable versioned archive for downstream users. Preboarding metadata provides consistency, lineage, data discoverability, and verified quality. Using FlightPath your team can easily create an automated preboarding process using the open source CsvPath Framework without worrying about process design and architecture. CsvPath Framework acts as an internal trusted publisher to the data lake, analytics, and enterprise applications. DataOps teams use FlightPath to develop automation in CsvPath Language and simplify day-to-day management of data identification, validation, upgrading, and publishing tasks. FlightPath is pre-integrated with a range of DataOps tools and platforms for data capture, monitoring, storage. It offers configurable storage backends for S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage, SFTP, and the local file system. In addition, FlightPath includes integrations with OpenTelemetry, OpenLinage, Slack, web hooks and more.
