Niewalt Engineering Consulting has developed a mobile app (Motor Asset Management System M.A.M.S) specifically suited for the electric motor industry with its core functions being:
Uploading of all existing documentation of the motor as well as historical data
Uploading of monthly inspection data, where, after three months the app will reflect the health state of the motor moments after the data was uploaded
The motor is identified with a QR code displayed on the motor or alternatively, a search function can be used
Accurate repairs are documented allowing the end-user to immediately access all relevant data regarding a motor, and therefore can very quickly make an informed decision on the future of the motor
