Description

Dengue MV Score is a specialized clinical tool designed to estimate the risk of mechanical ventilation in children with dengue shock syndrome. By integrating a machine learning–based risk score (published in PLOS One journal), the application calculates a patient’s risk level using multiple clinical parameters—such as cumulative fluid infusion, ratio of colloid-to-crystalloid fluids, platelet count, peak hematocrit, day of shock onset, severe bleeding, VIS score changes, and liver enzyme elevation. This quick and user-friendly interface enables healthcare professionals to promptly identify high-risk cases and make more informed decisions in the first critical 24 hours of PICU admission. However, Dengue MV Score is not a substitute for professional judgment or existing treatment protocols. (*) Important notice: Always consult official guidelines and expert recommendations.
