Every profile on Know Before You Meet includes a full-body video captured in the app. You can capture your profile video yourself using your front camera by placing your phone upright on a table and stepping back. The app starts a countdown when your whole body is in frame. Better yet, have your friend take your video using the back camera. Exploring profiles feels like your favorite short-form video app. Profile videos are high resolution and shown in full screen. Scroll past a video to dislike the profile or tap to like. You can also pull up profile details by tapping their name. There, you can see how long ago the video was taken. Also, their city and approximate distance are always GPS verified. While some parts of the profile may feel familiar, like prompts, we have a few unique additions, such as favorite quality and hidden desires. Hidden desires let you share aspects of yourself that are only visible to others who share them. Current options are polyamory, open relationship, and kink, with more coming soon. New matches are displayed in your dashboard as video thumbnails. Swipe left for quick access. You won’t be able to text your matches; we’re all voice clips. However, voice clips automatically generate a transcript for convenience. Happy matching!
