Focal Shift

Focal Shift is a simple app that I wrote to improve my work focus. I noticed it's easy to get distracted by what's been left open on the screen, such as chats or web pages. Ideally, you want sit down to a screen that is only showing what you want to focus on so your attention is drawn to that. Focal Shift detects when your Mac is idle, then, after waiting an interval that you've set, it hides all open applications and activates the one you want to focus on. After taking a break, it's great to come back to a Mac with a clean screen that is only showing your Reminders or current project. Focal Shift helps you start work with a clear mind and a clear goal.
