Description
“What Time Is It? The Manual of Time” is a digital interactive book that explores different concepts related to time and helps children learn how to read the clock.
The main character is a curious little girl named Thelma, who constantly asks questions. The answers come from a magical old book called “This and That”, which opens the door to playful adventures. Through it, Thelma meets Time — a living character who takes her on a journey through his fantastical world. He shows her how the clock and its hands work, how many hours there are in a day, and how many minutes in an hour. Together, they shop for minutes and bake the most delicious “Tick-Tock Pizza,” which helps children visualize the hours of the day and learn to tell time easily and joyfully.
Using a multidisciplinary approach, children also discover many new things beyond the main theme of time and the clock.
The project was created with the financial support of the National Culture Fund of Bulgaria under the Program for Recovery and Development of Private Cultural Organizations.
The printed edition, on which this adaptation is based, won the Konstantin Konstantinov National Award for illustration.
“What Time Is It?” is written and voiced in English, Bulgarian and Ukrainian.
