Birdie - AI Podcasts on Any Topic
Birdie turns your curiosity into a personalized podcast. Just tell us what you want to learn about, anything from the history of coffee to how black holes work, and our AI creates a 25-30 minute audio episode just for you, delivered by two voices having a relaxed, engaging conversation.
Your Topic. Your Podcast.
We made Birdie because a lot of the time we wanted to hear about a very specific topic that no existing podcast covered (we're weird and have weird niche interests). But it's actually really interesting when you play with it, we ask things like, How did maps shape history? What languages use different parts of the brain? Are we living in a simulation? Was Gengis Khan in love with his best friend? No one really covers these in depth given how niche they are so with birdie you can fill those gaps. You just ask, and a podcast is made for you in minutes.
How It Works
1. Type any topic you're curious about
2. AI researches and writes your episode using credible sources
3. Two natural-sounding voices bring it to life
4. Listen, learn, and relax
Is this actually interesting?
At Birdie we use it a lot for commutes, cooking, falling asleep, things like that, what we found useful was how well it researched everything and the insights it pulled. For example, we learned that La Malinche was one of the most important people in the history of the Americas all by asking about the Aztecs.
You can ask about any topic, some of us like science-y topics like Is our Galaxy in a Black Hole (something some scientists believe might be true!), but the other day someone was asking about Gengis Khan and if he was in love with his best friend from childhood, and the answer was "kind of". So we end up learning really interesting things.
We show you all the research that was used to make the podcast so you can fact check things on your own or follow up on sources.
