Description
The Name Game is a popular party game for groups of 4 or more that is known by many different names – including Celebrity, The Hat Game, Lunchbox, Fish Bowl and Salad Bowl.
The app replaces the hourglass, scoresheet and above all the deck of cards, which contains a varied mix of famous personalities and fictional characters that everyone knows. Additional name categories can be unlocked as an in-app purchase.
The rules are simple: in teams, personalities are described and guessed. The guessers can proceed differently depending on the round.
Round 1: Any Number of Words
The clue-givers can describe the personalities using as many words as they like.
Round 2: One Word
The clue-givers may only give one word as a clue for each personality.
Round 3: Pantomime / Charades
The clue-givers may only pantomime the personalities without speaking.
