GECSA (GEorgia Climate Services for Agriculture) app provides essential climate services for the agricultural stakeholders, especially farmers, in Georgia. It is a personalized, farm-level, agromet services to individual farmers, including weather and seasonal forecasts, irrigation decision support, pest and disease early warning, and farming advisories to cope with forecasted climate and pest and disease risks. This app is also used by ICC (extension) officers to collect agronomic data from the fields and transmit them to the central database of Rural Development Agency (RDA). This app was developed together with the national partner agencies (RDA, National Environmental Agency, Scientific-Research Center of Agriculture, National Food Agency) and private sectors (Georgian Farmers' Association and others), funded by the UNDP Georgia.
