Kolpa E-bike is a sustainable project that establishes a network of electric bicycles in all major towns along the Kolpa River. The eBike Kolpa mobile application is intended for all users of 350 km of e-bike routes in the area of the Kolpa River. The guide contains information on e-cycling routes and is designed as an informative aid for route finding and orientation in nature. All routes are displayed with detailed information such as: route length, duration, difficulty of the route, route description, picture of markings, altitude data - including altitude profile and interesting locations along the route. For each route, we can check whether it is family-friendly, how much of the route goes through the forest, we can check whether the route runs along main or side roads. The following e-bike routes can be found in the application: - Stari trg - Vinica - Adlešiči - Metlika - Daljinska Kolpa e-bike Metlika – Stari trg ob Kolpa - ... In addition to routes, the application also covers cultural and natural attractions and all interesting locations such as lodgings, inns, campsites and locations of e-charging stations for e-bikes. All information about routes and points of interest can be viewed on the detailed topographical map of Slovenia. The main advantages of the eBike Kolpa application: - Information about the individual route, together with the map, can be saved on the internal memory of the mobile device. Thus, the cards can be used even when a suitable network connection is not available. - It is possible to include the display of the current GPS location and the direction of view on the map. - It is possible to monitor the position on the way and the distance to the destination. - Several different points of interest in Bela Krajina are shown, e.g.: natural attractions, tourist attractions, guesthouses, mountain huts. The most interesting locations, like the routes, are also equipped with pictures and short descriptions. The application is available in Slovenian and English.
