Another Summit

Another Summit is a program within Guardian Revival, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization chartered to revive and preserve the mental health and well-being of veterans and first responders — our guardians — at no cost to them. Another Summit provides outdoor recreation and education opportunities for active military, veterans, first responders, and their families & caretakers. Another Summit’s outdoor adventures are led by a team of certified outdoor leaders and are open to people of all ages, experiences, and ability levels. Our adventures are located throughout New York and the Northeast, and we provide a variety of outdoor recreation activities — from walks and hikes to kayaking and backpacking. Each of our adventures comes with an educational component, so that our members develop the knowledge and confidence to begin their own adventures. The Another Summit phone app bridges the communications gap between outdoor leaders and members, providing a user-friendly experience that makes viewing & signing up for our adventures easier than ever. Adventures can be viewed in list or calendar format. Information about each adventure (including difficulty level, location, and type) is easy to access, and signing up for an adventure is as simple as pressing a button. Each user will have their own My Adventures page where they can view the upcoming events they've signed up for. Users can search for specific adventures using the filter function on the list view of the Adventures page to narrow by date, time, activity type, difficulty level, and more, allowing users to easily discover the right adventure for them.
