Veloscope

Veloscope is a simple app that connects to a radar and allows you to record and view traffic data while you ride, or analyse post ride. With this information you can: • Increase your awareness of traffic while riding. • Discover what roads are the busiest and when. • Determine what approx. speed a vehicle passed at a specific time. • If you place phone on handlebars you can also see when traffic approaches you or • Simply leave phone in pocket and upload to MyBikeTraffic.com for analysis afterwards. ****** It still up to the individual rider to ensure their own safety. ***** Currently Supports some Garmin radars with Bluetooth, e.g. Varia RTL515 and Magene L508 Radar Features include: • Radar traffic view - Chose to position the traffic view on the left of right of the screen. • Vehicle counts - see current and total vehicle counts as traffic passes you. • Vehicle speeds - see relative and absolute speed of fastest car passing you. • Connect to MyBikeTrafffic.com and optionally automatically upload activity to that site for review later. • If Uploaded to MyBikeTrafffic.com yo can view activity on that site. • Share to anywhere - supports all the main sites. • Auto Pause - when stopped Veloscope will automatically pause. • Activity Recovery - If for some reason app is restarted, it can recovery an in progress activity. • Supports Light and Dark mode. • Optional notifications to alert when radar has disconnected. • Share activity fit file to computer or other app. • Use iPhone file explorer to copy activities manually to computer. • Supports drag 'n' drop to reorder fields. • Plays a warning sound when a vehicle approaches and an all clear sound when no more vehicles. Free for recording up to 3 activities then an in app purchase will unlock unlimited activities.
