Calculating accumulator sizes using the conventional gas law for isothermal and adiabatic expansion of nitrogen gas gives inaccurate numbers at high pressure. This app takes advantage of work published in the Journal of Physical and Chemical Reference Data to perform accumulator sizing calculations with very high accuracy, for both isothermal and adiabatic conditions, expansion and contraction.
