Originating from Moghul India, a Taj is a crown, or a head-dress of great distinction. Gravesend is a lively and cosmopolitan neighbourhood of restaurants, pubs and shops. At Cafe Taj we had a clear concept of the image we were trying to achieve – to simulate the stylish and vibrant West End restaurant scene here in Gravesend. We have recreated the ambience and style of the West End restaurant and brought it here in Kent.
