Situated on a hill that overlooks the city, an imposing building has a distinct impact on the lives of the citizens – The George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Targu Mures. The dendrological park that surrounds the University on all sides, protects it from the monotony of the town as an island of greenery, perfectly integrated to her role as a model of her disciples of Asclepius, determined to relieve human suffering and help others. The Faculty of Medicine was founded over 75 years ago and is currently a landmark of national and international medical education.
