Features for student accounts: AT A GLANCE GRADES AND RECENT ACTIVITY • View grades in an at-a-glance format • See any recent activity, such as assignments being created and grade category weights being changed, right from the dashboard CALENDAR • Keep track of upcoming assignments • Create planner events that sync to Canvas web COMMUNICATION • Send and receive messages with teachers CANVAS WEB, SIMPLIFIED • View and class discussions • View course syllabuses, users, and modules • View and download course files • View all information for past courses LOGINS • Authenticate via Canvas or your iNurseCoach email Features exclusive to student accounts: • Submit upcoming assignments, quizzes, and tests • Edit & resubmit already submitted assignments • Add comments to assignments • Create & post to discussion boards* • Create & reply to announcements* • Communicate with teachers and fellow students* *These features may be disabled in certain courses depending on what permissions your teacher has set. Features for teacher accounts: • Enter & edit grades for students • Create & edit assignments/modules/announcements/discussions/files, etc. • Create & edit calendar entries • Communicate with students There are currently no special features for admin accounts. Other features: STAY LOGGED IN • You stay logged in until you choose to logout! THEMING • Dark mode for night-time readability QUICK ACCESS • Quickly open any Canvas hyperlinks from any source directly in the app OFFLINE SUPPORT • Nearly all pages are stored for 30 days once they've been accessed once, just in case you're without an internet connection What's not possible: • Notifications. Please rely on emails from Canvas for this functionality, which can be customized in settings.
