Only you are in control who can derive your files - Share Extension: Share files directly from any app, e.g. from Finder - You are in full control: Set how long you want the transfers to be available, protect them with a password, or have them automatically deleted when all recipients have downloaded them - Keep your transfers. You can list previous transfers and delete them prior to their expiration - Sync transfers with a ysendit.com Account The download page show a quick overview of your transfer and presents your files at a glance: Downloaders can preview your files and select which files they want to download. You can personalize the download experience with your own logo and put an image or website of your choice in the background. Key features regarding download experience: - Downloaders can leave comments and pin them to specific parts of your file - 50+ file types can be previewed, including .docx, .pptx, .epub, .mp4 - Partial file download: Downloaders can choose which files they want to download - Customizable: Background and logo can be adopted to your needs We support transfers with up to two TB of size, a storage duration of up to two years, do not limit download bandwidth and offer this service completely free of charge and without required registration. ysendit is also available for other devices on the web. Brief insight into the technical details: Before your files are uploaded, they are split into small pieces, each of which is locally encrypted and afterwards sent to multiple servers. In doing so, we reach upload speeds that exceed industry standards and very high durability of your uploaded files. For example, if you transfer 1000 files with ysendit, you can on average expect to incur a loss of a single file once every 100,000,000 years. When downloading, your files are cached near the user. Once they are on the users device, your files get decrypted locally.
