Sleep Mask - White Noise

Sleep Mask is a white noise app that can be used as a sleep-aid or distraction blocker. It produces high quality white, pink, and brown noise sounds as well as some variations of these. This is the FREE, ad-supported version of the Sleep Mask app. What is White Noise? White noise is made up of many different frequencies of sound combined together at equal intensity. Its name is analagous to white light which is a combination of all of the different colors of light in the visible spectrum. What is Pink Noise? Pink noise is a variation of white noise that places emphasis on bass, or the lower frequencies of sound. Its called pink noise, because if you were to do the same with the visible light spectrum you would get a pinkish color. What is Brown Noise? Brown noise is a variation of white noise that places stronger emphasis on the lower frequencies of sound than Pink noise. In the light analogy this would yield a deep red color. But since the noise coincides with a mathematical model called Brownian motion it is instead called Brown noise after the physicist Robert Brown.
